its friday + game review

it's been actually quite sometime since i actually felt free like a bird. i'm finally done with my portfolio and now all that's left is just to bind it properly and study for my exams which is in 3 weeks time. (14-17 jan 08 period) until then i got no classes so...yeah im going to study,read,read,read and maybe play =x

anyway people who knows me well will know that im a gamer and being a all rounder gamer,i believe that it is my task to uphold this duty of spreading and doing reviews on the nice and maybe...not so nice games. be it stand alone single player ones or massive multiplay online ones.

theres this mmo game that i remembered quite clearly. mind you that there are countless titles of mmo games out there right now but i remembered this because of its unique feature and gameplay.

it's different from any mmorpg that i played because character development isn't exactly through grinding and leveling but through usage of skills and such.

it allows you to play a role of a pirate or the navy. there's the gathering of raw materials,refining them and then manufacturing them into usable goods. there's fishing,sea battles with pirates,siege wars between nations and trading whereby one nation's abundance can be another's scarce.

it's a game whereby there's plenty to do and it's a game that you'll never get bored of if you like to play something unique yet bypass the conventional level grinding then this might just be the same for you. whether you have the dreams of being a notorious pirate,a rich trader or just someone who commandeers a battleship with big guns,its all up to you as the possibilities are endless...or not that endless but wide =p

my overall rating for this game would be 8.5/10
it would have been better if there was more help/guide/tutorials on how to properly make full use of the game.
